Karel van Alsenoy has a law degree from the University of Ghent(1965) and is a member of the Brussels Bar since 1967.

He obtained also graduated a Master inTown and Countryplanning UGhent (1969) and a Master (Lic. (Lic.Administrative Law) at the ULB-VUB (1971)

Teacher at the Instituut voor Wegtransport for 20 years.

Chairman of the Brussels Bar (NOAB) from 1994-96 and until 2016 Chamber Chairman Disciplinary Board (lawyers) jurisdiction Court of Appeal Brussels.

For many years he represented the Belgian legal profession at the International Bar Association and CCBE (European Bar Association).

His practice focuses actually on responsibility and insurance law, public and administrative law and real estate law.

He also regularly acts for public authorities (province, municipalities).

He has extensive experience in advisory work and dispute resolution – acting before state courts and arbitration tribunals – in relation to these matters.

Karel is fluent in Dutch, French, English and has working knowledge of German.
