Biography Walter Muls

Walter Muls has a law degree (master of law) from the University of Brussels (1986). After his military service he was sworn in as attorney and became member of the Brussels Bar in 1987. He was/is always closely involved in the bar society (secretary, president of the internship commission, member of the G.A. of the O.V.B., conciliation commission of fee disputes, lecturer criminal law).

Career & Practices

From 2003 to 2007 he was also elected to the Belgian Parliament.

He mainly handles cases in the field of criminal law and administrative law, but also handles many cases in civil law and commercial law.

Walter Muls obtained the certificate of cassation in criminal cases.

Languages

He assists his clients in dispute resolution throughout the country, and litigates in both Dutch and French. He also spends a great deal of time advising his clients at home and abroad.

He has a very good command of Dutch, French, English and German, and has a pratical knowledge of Italian.
